SOLD!!! Antique Oak 6 Drawer Library Card Catalog - $150

SOLD!!!

This auction is for an Antique 6-Drawer Library Card Catalog (also known as filing catalog, library file, library cabinet, library card file, card catalog cabinet, etc.)

The piece is in great condition and still has its original finish.  It does have one noticeable black mark on the top of the box, but the rest only shoes normal wear.

The drawers are made to hold a standard 5” x 3” index card, but can also be used for a variety of items.  In the same style of the overall casing, the drawers are dovetailed and are all in working condition.  All 6 drawers are in great condition and open smoothly.  Each drawer also still has its original brass pull with opening to insert label.  The only thing missing is that it does not contain index dividers.

The dimensions for the entire unit are:
Height: 12.75”
Width: 13.25”
Depth: 14.25”

The dimensions for inside of each drawer are:
Height: 3.75” (inside drawer)
Width: 5” (inside drawer)
Depth: 12.5 (inside drawer)

Whether you are looking for that perfect antique for your home, or just something to use for storage, this piece is for you!  In addition to its visual appeal, one of the most common uses for a library card catalog is storage for any number of items!

From Our Home to Yours - Antiques for Sale

What can I say, we have a lot of antiques.  From small items such as tokens and playing cards to library card catalogs, desks, and buffets.  We have it all.

So you must be assuming that if we have that much to sell, that we must be antiques dealers.  Well, that we are not.  What will be posted on this site will be items that have come from my family, from our purchases, from different rooms in our house.  We are really just selling you the stuff that we don't use and would love to see being taken home by another antiques lover that is ready to find that unique piece that they have been looking for.

I will be constantly updating this site with new items that we are posting and with additional information and updates on anything that has sold, so make sure you check back often!  I know that a picture is worth a thousand words, but I also know that everyone is looking for some detail that will either make or break a product for them, so please feel free to e-mail me with any questions that you have!  I will make sure to give you as much information that I can provide and can provide additional pictures if needed/wanted.   Anything that you might want to know, feel free to post a comment on this page or e-mail me at: AntiqueAssets@gmail.com.
